Kill the Hill

The unique opportunity to crown the top of Mallorca: the Puig Major, with its 1436m high. The Kill the Hill cycling tour starts at the Puerto Pollença Aerodrome and a 95km route, where the final 7km of ascent will be timed.

This is a VERY EXCLUSIVE AND UNIQUE event in Mallorca, since the final section is closed all year as it is a military zone. With Kill The Hill the hitherto impossible becomes possible, traveling those 7km of road.

To reach the top of Mallorca, which is hidden in the Serra de Tramuntana, a World Heritage Site, you have to travel the stretch 7km with an average slope of 9% and sections of 13%, and a height of 1436m above sea level.

What to bring?

Extreme weather is not expected at the end of April, rather it is usually spring weather, so it is advisable to wear mid-season clothes and put on sunscreen. To go on the bicycle, it may be advisable to wear a vest for the first bars of the race since the first hours of the morning are somewhat colder. It is also advisable to wear a waterproof jacket if rain is expected to make the journey more pleasant.

Kill the Hill crowns the Puig Major with 1,436m high. The route covers 100 km and 2,000 meters of unevenness. It has 7km of timed ascent, with a slope of 9% and sections of 13%, at a height of 1,436m above sea level. The entire route runs between the wonderful mountains and the most beautiful landscapes of Mallorca, such as the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
