Santueri Castle

You've probably heard about the climb to Sant Salvador, one of the most beautiful and well-known climbs in Mallorca, but you probably don't know its neighbor: Santueri Castle. In the Sierra de Levante, a short distance from Sant Salvador, is the incredible but most unknown ascent to Santueri Castle.

The road bike climb begins on the Felanitx-Cas Concos road, where there is a signposted detour. The length of the road to reach the castle at the top of the mountain is 4.9 kilometers, an ascent of 237 vertical meters and an average slope of 4.8%.

Possibly, when reading 4 .8% average slope You've thought, a piece of cake, right? Well, this average has a trick, since the first kilometers are up and down until, in the last 2 km, ramps of up to 15% appear that will not let you rest until you arrive at the castle. If you combine this with the incredible natural environment that surrounds the castle, it is well worth the suffering to reach the top.

Regarding the conditions of the road, it is narrow and not in the best condition. , although it can be circulated without any problem. In addition, it is usually a very quiet road traveled by local cyclists.
